KF series spray booths are designed for the application of protective and decorative coatings to products made of metal, wood, plastic and other materials. The key feature of the series is versatility: a range of sizes, a choice of heat source and compatibility with a wide range of coating materials, including primers, paints, enamels, varnishes and water-based coatings.
The booth is designed in accordance with European occupational safety standards. It provides optimal working conditions for the operator and increases the efficiency of paint shops in factories, metalworking workshops, furniture production and car repair shops.

How the Booth Is Arranged
The enclosure is made of sandwich panels with non-combustible mineral wool insulation, and airtight doors with perimeter seals help maintain a stable temperature inside the booth. Explosion-proof LED lighting provides at least 800 lux, allowing accurate inspection of coating quality.

A programmable logic controller (PLC) automatically runs the full cycle — spraying, purging and cooling — according to the time and temperature settings entered by the operator, keeping power consumption to a minimum.

Balanced ventilation creates a continuous flow of clean air through the working zone. Positive pressure helps prevent dust and other airborne contaminants from entering the booth, while the exhaust and filtration system removes paint mist and overspray from the working zone and prevents it from spreading into the surrounding environment. This protects freshly coated surfaces and maintains consistent coating quality.
Depending on the configuration, the air preparation system uses a four-pass stainless-steel heat exchanger with a diesel or gas burner, a hot-water heating coil or an electric heater to maintain the required process temperature. Pressure sensors monitor filter loading, duct airflow and fan operation.
Construction
Enclosure — 60 mm sandwich panels with non-combustible mineral wool insulation.
Doors — 2,400 × 2,000 mm entrance doors, airtight, with perimeter seals.
Ventilation — centrifugal supply and exhaust ventilation units with electric motors, an ASS-2.5 exhaust cabinet and a manual air-pressure damper in the booth.
Filtration — multi-stage supply-air filtration, including EU5 ceiling filters in a ceiling structure with filter frames, and two-stage dry EU3 exhaust-air filtration.
Air heating — a four-pass stainless-steel heat exchanger with a diesel or gas burner, a hot-water heating coil or an electric heater, at the customer’s choice.
Lighting — explosion-proof LED ceiling luminaires, 4 × 18 W, providing at least 800 lux.
Control panel — programmable logic controller (PLC), temperature controller, pressure and temperature sensors, hour meter and timer.
Safety
The booth is designed in accordance with European occupational safety standards.
The booth is made of non-combustible materials.
In spraying mode, the air in the booth is fully renewed, preventing the build-up of explosive concentrations of flammable vapours.
Fans and key ventilation system components are provided in an explosion-proof design.
An automatic safety interlock cuts off the supply of paint or compressed air to the spray equipment if the ventilation stops.
As an option, the booth can be equipped with a gas detection system for monitoring concentrations of flammable vapours relative to the lower explosive limit (LEL) and an automatic fire-extinguishing system.
Custom Configuration
The booth size, heat source and optional equipment are selected to suit the customer’s site: variable-frequency drives (VFDs, up to 40% lower power consumption), 100 mm sandwich panels for better thermal insulation and outdoor installation, additional sealed wall-mounted luminaires, a pneumatic painting equipment kit, an activated carbon air treatment unit, and an AS Hydro water-curtain exhaust cabinet instead of dry filtration.
