The spray booth is designed for applying and drying a protective paint coating on a previously prepared and degreased surface of various products (hereinafter referred to as products). Cabin processes must meet all health and safety requirements of workers or painters.
The implementation of a particular product (product) largely depends on its appearance. The finish coating not only makes products attractive, but also protects against adverse external influences (rust, burnout, mechanical damage). Optimal conditions for the application and subsequent drying of paintwork on various surfaces are created by a spray booth, which includes a whole range of various equipment.
In our models of spray booths, any paint and varnish materials can be used (pass the drying process). Depending on the materials used during operation, the operator independently selects and uses temperature and time modes. We are a leading manufacturer of spray booths in Ukraine and Europe.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF THE PAINTING SPRAY BOOTH
During the operation of the spray booth, air enters the booth. Along the way, being cleaned with the help of filters built into the camera. Then, the fan sends it to a special heating chamber (heat exchanger) for further heating. At the next stage, the air passes through the ceiling fine filters. The flow enters from the top of the chamber, and moves down the contour of the car and follows into the spray booth itself, with an approximate speed of 0.22 m / s. You should carefully monitor the air temperature, as with excessive overheating, condensation begins to form. In this case, as with improper operation, there is a rapid wear of parts and components of the camera. The camera system provides a multi-level protection mechanism. in the event of an unscheduled shutdown of one of the nodes, the heat supply is stopped in order to prevent overheating.
Special filters located on the floor prevent dye from getting on the floor. The same filters pass the paint mist. The chamber is purged quickly. Just five minutes, with the damper that controls the recirculation. At the end of these operations, the camera turns on the drying mode.
The principle of operation of a car spray booth contains another important point: after the painting itself, it is necessary to dry the painted product, car, etc. Before switching on the drying mode, the exhaust ventilation is automatically turned off. It is automatically linked to the opening of the recirculation damper. To prevent the varnished surface from becoming matte, an additional intake of fresh air is carried out. This air supply prevents strong saturation of the chamber with solvent vapors.
Dry – mode of operation allows the system to be more efficient and consume 40% less heat and electricity than in painting mode. The reason for this is simple: in dyeing mode, a lot of air is required to distribute the dye and a constant temperature is needed, as well as the circulation of air masses.

Instructions for using the spray camera
Ventilation mode (painting)
- Turn on the light in the cell with the light switch (lighting from the remote control).
- Make sure there are no paints, solvents, or paper left inside the chamber.
- Place the appropriately pre-prepared product in the chamber and close the entrance gate and service doors.
- Turn on the power of the control panel – the power indicator should light up.
- Start ventilation and heat generators by pressing the “VENTILATION (painting)” button. The air handling unit operation indicator should light up. The heater turns on after 8…10 s if the temperature in the chamber is below 19 ºС.
Drying mode
- Check that there is no paper, spray guns, or other items left in the chamber.
- If it is necessary to dry at a temperature other than 60ºС, on the drying thermostat, set another temperature or the temperature required for drying.
- Set the drying time on the relay.
- Start the chamber with the “DRY” button.
ATTENTION: after starting the camera in this mode, the lighting in the camera is extinguished.
The thermostat will maintain the set temperature in the chamber during the entire drying time, and at the purge stage. The ventilation (painting) temperature will be maintained and the recirculation damper will remain closed. As soon as the drying time is exhausted, the heater will automatically turn off and after 6..8 min. (at the end|on completion of the cooling phase) the fan will stop.
Painting booth and equipment TWEKO
TWEKO has developed a line of equipment designed for partial or complete coloring of products or their parts. Particular attention is paid to the efficient use of energy in work processes, making the complex as economical as possible. The safety of work in our chambers fully complies with European labor protection standards. Therefore, we recommend buying a TWEKO spray booth.
We recommend additional equipment that is also necessary for the spray booth, paint spray chamber and creating comfortable conditions for painting.
The use of modern technologies in production has allowed our equipment:
- reduce energy consumption in the drying mode, which is the most energy-intensive;
- achieve a small spread in temperature values by constant recirculation of air masses;
- increase the drying speed of the paintwork.
The level of purification of exhaust air, which contains a lot of harmful chemicals, is also very important. High concentrations may cause fire or explosion. For production needs, such a spray booth is needed, the cost of which takes into account all possible risks. Regardless of the product material, the complex can operate in several modes:
- Coloring – the optimal mode of temperature and air exchange rate is set for different products and paintwork;
- Purging – follows after staining is completed. Necessary for the complete removal of residual paint vapors;
- Drying – increasing the temperature of the air masses passing inside the chamber (up to 110 degrees);
- Cooling – starts after the end of drying and performs a complete replacement of air in the chamber several times.
How to buy spray booth
Since our company uses quality materials and developments to create its projects, the cost of the complex is quite competitive. The equipment manufactured in our workshops practically eliminates the occurrence of various defects on the surface of products. Quality of the applied coating is such that there is no need for grinding, which means that the protective paintwork is completely preserved. The answer to the question: “How much does a spray booth cost?” depends on the specifics of the technological process at your enterprise. Agree, it is much more convenient and more profitable to select equipment taking into account the individual characteristics of the work than to adapt the device to the conditions in which it will lose efficiency.
