Due to the lack of a prepared foundation, the TWEKO team developed custom podium blueprints and prepared a complete set of design documentation: blueprints for the ventilation unit block, heat exchanger, burner, roller gate frame, ceiling, KFS cabin, and filtration cassettes.

Within a month — by mid-April — the equipment was shipped, and the installation of the painting equipment began immediately. By the end of April 2025, the main chamber structures were assembled, and the lighting was installed and connected. The equipment was handed over to the client fully assembled with a functioning lighting system.

Installation and Logistics Features

  1. Custom solutions: TWEKO developed podium blueprints for installing the chamber with roller gates on a flat floor, accommodating the client’s foundation constraints.
  2. Logistics: equipment delivery was at the client’s expense, while TWEKO handled the installation. The client provided accommodation and meals for the installation team.

Benefits for the Client

  • High-quality painting: the AKFS-S-9 chamber ensures uniform coating thanks to powerful ventilation (27,000 m³/h) and adjustable temperature (16–80 ºC).

In the fall of 2024, KozakWorkshop — a family-run workshop crafting oak products sold on Etsy, eBay, and Amazon — approached TWEKO to improve its painting process. By spring 2025, TWEKO completed the delivery and installation of an exhaust chamber with dry filtration under DDP terms.

In September 2024, the owner of KozakWorkshop, a family workshop located in Ivano-Frankove, Lviv Region, contacted Techservice VEKO and Partner GmbH LLC (TWEKO) to enhance the application of coatings on wooden products. Established in 2014, the workshop specializes in creating unique oak items — religious icons, crosses, and home decor elements, blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative technologies, and successfully selling them on international platforms like Etsy, eBay, and Amazon.

To ensure high-quality coatings and improve production efficiency, KozakWorkshop ordered a painting chamber with dry filtration from the ASS-Comp series, tailored to the workshop’s needs.

Objective

The project aimed to ensure high-quality and safe application of coatings on KozakWorkshop’s wooden products sold on international platforms like Etsy, eBay, and Amazon. The client sought compact yet efficient equipment meeting the following criteria:

  1. Effective dry filtration to maintain a clean working environment.
  2. Powerful airflow for uniform and high-quality coating application.
  3. Compact dimensions suited to the workshop’s space constraints.
  4. Reliability and ease of maintenance for long-term operation in line with international market quality standards.

TWEKO proposed an exhaust cabinet with dry filtration, model ASS-Comp-2, which fully met these requirements due to its technical specifications and convenient compact design, and was delivered and installed under DDP terms.

Implementation

The equipment was delivered to the client’s address, and installation was completed by the TWEKO team in March 2025, adhering to all safety requirements. TWEKO also provided accommodation for the installation crew, as stipulated in the agreement.

After signing the contract, TWEKO manufactured the ASS-Comp-2 painting chamber with the following specifications:

  • Overall dimensions: 2 × 0.5 × 1.9 m
  • Exhaust zone dimensions: 2 × 1.9 m
  • Effective filter area: 3.4 m²
  • Airflow capacity: 6,500 m³/h
  • Total motor power: 3 kW
  • Air velocity in the working zone: 0.25–0.4 m/s
  • Power supply: 3-phase, 380 V, 50 Hz

Installation Features: Air Duct Configuration

To ensure the efficient operation of the ASS-Comp-2 painting chamber in KozakWorkshop’s compact space, the TWEKO team configured the air ducts to vent through the workshop’s exterior wall. The ventilation system was mounted on a metal platform attached to the wall, optimizing equipment placement and ensuring uninterrupted exhaust of used air. A specially prepared wall opening with metal framing guarantees airtightness and protection from external elements, while the system’s 6,500 m³/h capacity rapidly removes harmful particles, creating safe working conditions for artisans.

After configuring the exhaust and filtration systems, the chamber provided optimal working conditions, ensuring clean air in the workshop and high-quality coating application.

Benefits for the Client

The ASS-Comp-2 painting chamber brought KozakWorkshop the following benefits:

  • High-Quality Coating: An airflow capacity of 6,500 m³/h and air velocity of 0.25–0.4 m/s ensure uniform and reliable coating application, enhancing the competitiveness of products on international markets.
  • Clean Working Environment: The dry filtration system with a 3.4 m² area effectively purifies air, creating comfortable and safe working conditions.
  • Compact Design: With dimensions of 2 × 0.5 × 1.9 m, the chamber perfectly fits the workshop’s available space.
  • Cost-Effectiveness and Reliability: The simple design and easy maintenance reduce operating costs and ensure stable equipment performance.

Conclusion

The project for KozakWorkshop exemplified successful collaboration between a family workshop and TWEKO. The installation of the ASS-Comp-2 chamber significantly improved product quality, which is critical for sales on international platforms like Etsy, eBay, and Amazon. TWEKO once again demonstrated its ability to deliver tailored technical solutions, providing a full cycle from design to installation.
