TWEKO completed a project to supply an aspiration cabinet with a water curtain for one of Ukraine’s leading state-owned enterprises. The equipment was ordered at the end of 2017 through a tender procedure to enhance the quality of coatings on small components.
At the end of 2017, TWEKO received a request for a commercial proposal from a state-owned enterprise, part of the Ukroboronprom concern and the only manufacturer in Ukraine of detonation devices (capsule detonators, electric detonators, detonating cords, etc.). The enterprise holds strategic importance for the country. The purpose of the order was to acquire an aspiration cabinet with a water curtain for painting small components and improving the quality of coatings.
Project Objective
According to the technical specifications, the state enterprise required equipment with the following characteristics:
- Water curtain with nozzles and a receiving tank.
- Filtration system and guiding deflectors for water and air.
- Vibration-dampening frame, control panel with water pump, and a rotating table.
- Dimensions: 1000 x 1000 x 2400 mm.
- Water curtain: 1000 x 1000 mm.
- Power consumption: up to 5 kW.
- Air purification efficiency: at least 95%.
Additional requirements included a 12-month warranty and the submission of complete technical documentation for the tender.
Implementation
TWEKO participated in the tender procedure, offering an optimal solution. After winning, the equipment was manufactured and delivered within 20 working days. The aspiration cabinet with a water curtain was commissioned in 2018 and has since operated in standard mode, contributing to the improved quality of the client’s products.
