In February 2025, the Slovak company JOKERTRIKE s.r.o. approached TWEKO to design a spray booth with drying capabilities and heating up to 50°C. The project’s uniqueness lies in its adaptation to site conditions, correcting height disparities, and compliance with stringent European aviation industry standards. TWEKO’s team designed, manufactured, and commissioned a spray booth model IKFS Diagonal from the IKFS series with a diesel burner. The project was completed on August 8, 2025, under FCA (Free Carrier) terms with supervised installation in Slovakia.

JOKERTRIKE s.r.o., established in 2005 in Topoľčany, Slovakia, specializes in the development and production of sports aircraft, including two- and single-seat powered hang gliders and Joker gyrocopters. The company also manufactures high-quality components for the mechanical engineering, automotive, and aviation industries using advanced CNC machining centers. JOKERTRIKE’s products are distinguished by innovative design, reliability, and competitive pricing, securing success in markets such as Estonia, the USA, Germany, the Philippines, and China. In 2025, the company commissioned TWEKO to supply a spray booth to optimize coating applications on tricycles and gyrocopters, enhancing finish quality, accelerating production, and meeting European environmental and safety standards.
Project Objectives
The project aimed to create optimal conditions for high-quality painting and drying of coatings on tricycles and gyrocopters at JOKERTRIKE s.r.o.’s facility. Key requirements included:
- A spray booth with diesel heating up to 50°C.
- Energy-efficient ventilation with high-performance motors (5.5 kW for intake and exhaust).
- Adaptation to site conditions with correction of height disparities.
- Implementation under FCA terms with supervised installation.
TWEKO’s Solution
TWEKO developed a tailored solution:
- Spray Booth KFS.000.00.00-ENERGY“D” (IKFS-D-5 series). Equipped with a Unigas LO-200 diesel burner (heating up to 50°C, maximum 60°C), VC14-46 NO.5 ventilators (5.5 kW, 11,000 m³/h capacity), maintaining overpressure of 10–30 Pa. The structure features sandwich panels with mineral wool insulation, “dry” filtration (ceiling, cardboard, and fiberglass filters), a frequency converter for ventilation control, and LED lighting (6500 lumens). The booth was adapted to the site by milling the concrete base to correct a height disparity to +10 mm.
- Automated Control System. The control panel enables precise temperature settings (22°C for painting, up to 60°C for drying), automatic mode switching (cleaning, heating, drying, cooling), and pressure control via pneumatic valves.
The project was executed under FCA terms with supervised installation by a TWEKO specialist, ensuring compliance with Slovak and European safety and environmental standards.
Project Execution
In February 2025, JOKERTRIKE contacted TWEKO with a request to create a spray booth. TWEKO’s team promptly prepared a commercial proposal, and by April 2025, completed the design documentation for the KFS.000.00.00-ENERGY“D” spray booth from the IKFS Diagonal series (model IKFS-D-5), enabling immediate production. To adapt to site conditions, a height disparity of +25 mm was corrected by milling the concrete base by 15 mm, achieving a level of +10 mm. The spray booth, featuring sandwich panels, roller shutter gates (2500×2000 mm), a Unigas LO-200 burner, filters (ceiling 2720×2000 mm, cardboard, fiberglass), and LED lighting (6500 lumens), was manufactured on schedule. Shipment (weight 2200 kg, volume 85 m³) took place in late June 2025. Despite logistical challenges of international delivery, supervised installation began in July with TWEKO’s team. The client provided tools (angle grinders, perforator, silicone and rivet guns) and accommodation. Commissioning, including testing of ventilators (5.5 kW, 11,000 m³/h), frequency converter, and control panel, was completed on August 8, 2025.

- Reliable installation of the spray booth by milling the concrete base (from a height disparity of +25 mm to +10 mm), ensuring perfect leveling and structural stability. Site adaptation optimized workshop space and simplified equipment integration into existing production.
- Scheduled commissioning of the painting facility in August 2025 enabled JOKERTRIKE to start serial painting of tricycles and gyrocopters on time, boosting productivity and competitiveness in the international market.
- Compliance with Slovak and European standards (ISO 9001:2015, ČSN EN 13355, CE marking), ensuring safe and environmentally friendly operation. The spray booth is equipped with two-stage “dry” filtration (cardboard labyrinth, EU5 fiberglass) and explosion-proof LED lighting (6500 lumens), guaranteeing high-quality painting and safe working conditions for the aviation industry.
