In October 2012, TWEKO installed a budget painting chamber for the Center for Support of Service Activities of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CSSA MoD and GS AFU) in Kyiv. The chamber, with internal dimensions of 7×4×2.7 m, mounted on a foundation base with integrated air ducts, delivers high-quality vehicle painting under tight budget constraints.
About the Client
The Center for Support of Service Activities of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CSSA MoD and GS AFU) is a state institution located in Kyiv, responsible for the logistical support of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Ukraine leadership. The center handles maintenance and repair of the official vehicle fleet, including bodywork and painting. Limited funding and high-quality standards require cost-effective and reliable solutions, such as painting chambers. TWEKO offers proven solutions for state institutions, auto repair shops, and industrial enterprises.
Project Objectives
The project aimed to create conditions for bodywork and vehicle painting for the CSSA MoD and GS AFU’s official fleet under tight budget constraints. The main requirements included:
- Installation of a budget painting chamber with optimal dimensions for passenger vehicles.
- Providing a reliable environment for high-quality coating application in a clean air environment.
- Use of a foundation base with integrated air ducts for effective ventilation.
- Cost-effectiveness and reliability of equipment under limited funding conditions.
TWEKO’s Solution: Budget Painting Chamber for Vehicles
TWEKO developed and installed a budget painting chamber that included:
- Painting Chamber. The chamber, with internal dimensions of 7×4×2.7 m, mounted on a foundation base with integrated air ducts, provides sufficient space for painting passenger vehicles.
- Ventilation System. Integrated air ducts and an exhaust system effectively remove paint mist, maintaining a clean working area and comfortable conditions for operators.
- Heating System. Diesel fuel is used for air heating, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient drying of coatings.
- Construction. The cost-optimized chamber design was developed specifically for implementation under tight budget constraints, maintaining reliability and functionality.
The package was complemented with necessary fittings, mounting hardware, and sealing elements to ensure stable operation.
Project Implementation
The request from CSSA MoD and GS AFU was received in 2012. TWEKO prepared a commercial proposal, considering the limited funding and requirements for coating quality. After site measurements, the installation of a budget painting chamber with internal dimensions of 7×4×2.7 m was proposed. Manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of the equipment were completed in October 2012. The chamber was put into operation on schedule.
Results for the Client
- High-quality bodywork due to a clean air environment in the chamber.
- Effective removal of paint mist through integrated air ducts and ventilation system.
- Cost-effective solution due to the streamlined design and diesel heating.
- Reliable working conditions for operators due to the sealed construction and exhaust system.

Conclusion
The project for CSSA MoD and GS AFU was successfully completed in October 2012. TWEKO demonstrated expertise in supplying budget painting chambers tailored to the needs of state institutions with limited funding, ensuring high-quality coating application and cost-effectiveness.
Industrial Painting and Drying Chambers: IKFS Series
For state institutions, the defense industry, and industrial enterprises, TWEKO offers industrial painting and drying chambers of the IKFS series, including budget modifications. These chambers are designed for high-quality application of coatings on vehicles, special equipment, and other products, even under limited funding conditions.
Among the series options is the IKFS Diagonal — a budget model with a diagonal airflow scheme that reduces energy consumption without compromising coating quality. Such solutions are optimal for the public sector and organizations with limited budgets. The model installed for CSSA MoD and GS AFU is an example of a budget chamber on a foundation base with effective ventilation, diesel heating, and a sealed construction. The IKFS series chambers are adaptable to individual needs: from compact to large-scale, with the option for installation without a foundation. Reliability, cost-effectiveness, and high painting quality are the foundation of TWEKO’s solutions for the public and industrial sectors.
