A spray booth on a flat floor. The flat-floor booth option is distinguished by its ease of installation in any type of premises and minimization of capital investment – it does not require preparatory construction work. Air exhaust from the spray booth is carried out using exhaust ventilation ducts located along the lower part of the booth’s side walls. The ventilation duct is equipped with a two-level filtration system:
First level – easily removable cardboard labyrinth filters;
Second level – fibrous Paint Stop filters.
Thanks to this filtration system, the lifespan of the filters is increased by at least four times compared to standard designs. The flat-floor KFS installation option is implemented in a series of booths designed for auto repair shops – AKFS-FlatFloor.
Advantages of a Flat-Floor Booth
- Easy installation on a flat floor in any type of premises.
- No additional costs and minimized capital investment.
- Mobility – easy relocation of the booth if needed.
- Two-level filtration system.
- Unobstructed delivery of items to the working area (the KFS floor and the workshop floor are at the same level).
- Diagonal airflow direction within the booth.
- Concrete floor accumulates more paint contamination than grilles.
- Increased cost of manufacturing and designing the KFS structure.
